Undo send in hotmail

The classic "undo send" conundrum!

Unfortunately, Hotmail (now Outlook.com) doesn't have a built-in "undo send" feature like some other email services do. Once you hit the "Send" button, the email is sent and can't be recalled.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

  1. Check your Sent folder: If you act quickly, you can try checking your Sent folder to see if the email is still there. If it is, you can delete it before it's too late.
  2. Contact the recipient: If you've sent an email to someone and immediately regret it, you can try contacting them directly and asking them to ignore the email or delete it.
  3. Use a third-party add-on: There are some third-party browser extensions and add-ons available that claim to offer an "undo send" feature for Hotmail/Outlook.com. These add-ons may work, but be cautious when installing them, as they may have security implications.
  4. Wait it out: If none of the above options work, you'll just have to wait it out and hope the recipient doesn't respond or act on the email.

It's worth noting that Microsoft has considered implementing an "undo send" feature for Outlook.com in the past, but it's not currently available.

Remember, it's always a good idea to double-check your emails before hitting the "Send" button to avoid any potential mishaps!
