Usps hold mail pick up

The convenience of having your mail held at a USPS location for pickup!

Here's how it works:

Hold Mail Service

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a Hold Mail service that allows you to temporarily suspend mail delivery to your home or business while you're away. This service is available for both residential and commercial customers.

How to Use Hold Mail Service

To use Hold Mail Service, you can:

  1. Online: Go to the USPS website (usps.com) and sign in to your account. Click on "Hold Mail" and follow the prompts to schedule your hold.
  2. Phone: Call the USPS Customer Service number at 1-800-275-8777 (1-800-ASK-USPS) and ask to schedule a hold.
  3. In-Person: Visit your local post office and ask to schedule a hold.

Pickup Options

When you schedule a hold, you can choose from two pickup options:

  1. Pickup at a Post Office: You can pick up your held mail at a nearby post office during business hours.
  2. Pickup at a Self-Service Kiosk: Some post offices have self-service kiosks where you can pick up your held mail 24/7.

Fees

There is no fee for Hold Mail Service, but you may need to pay for postage if you need to send mail or packages while your mail is being held.
