Gmail Labs!

Gmail Labs is a platform that allows developers to experiment with new features and ideas for Gmail. These features are not yet fully developed or tested, but they can be enabled by users to try out new functionality.

Here are some examples of Gmail Labs features:

  1. Undo Send: Allows you to retract an email you've just sent within a few seconds of sending it.
  2. Canned Responses: Enables you to create pre-written responses to common emails, such as "Out of Office" or "Thank you for your email".
  3. Custom Keyboard Shortcuts: Allows you to create custom keyboard shortcuts for common actions, such as composing a new email or archiving a message.
  4. Email Add-ons: Enables you to add third-party apps to your Gmail interface, such as Grammarly or Boomerang.
  5. Priority Inbox: Automatically sorts your inbox into two sections: "Important" and "Everything else".
  6. Snooze: Allows you to temporarily remove an email from your inbox and bring it back at a later time.
  7. Smart Reply: Suggests quick responses to emails, such as "Yes", "No", or "More information needed".
  8. Offline Mail: Enables you to compose and send emails even when you're not connected to the internet.
  9. Custom Labels: Allows you to create custom labels for your emails, such as "Work" or "Personal".
  10. Email Templates: Enables you to create reusable email templates for common messages, such as a "Meeting invitation" or "Follow-up".

To access Gmail Labs, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings".
  4. Scroll down to the "Labs" tab.
  5. Click on the "Enable" button next to the feature you want to try.

Remember that Gmail Labs features are experimental and may not work as expected. If you encounter any issues, you can disable the feature or report the issue to Google.
