  2. Log in with your VUnetID and password.
  3. Click on "Email" from the MyVU dashboard.
  4. Follow the prompts to activate your email account.

Step 2: Set Up Your Email Client

You can set up your Vanderbilt email account using various email clients, such as:

  1. Microsoft Outlook: Download and install Microsoft Outlook from the Vanderbilt University website.
  2. Apple Mail: Go to System Preferences > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and add a new account.
  3. Google Mail: Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account, and select "Other" > "IMAP" or "POP3".

Step 3: Configure Your Email Settings

For all email clients:

  1. Email Address: Use your Vanderbilt email address (e.g., [email protected]).
  2. Username: Use your VUnetID (e.g., jsmith123).
  3. Password: Use your VUnetID password.
