Verify email address windows live mail

To verify an email address in Windows Live Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail and click on the "Contacts" button in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on the "New Contact" button to create a new contact.
  3. Enter the email address you want to verify in the "Email" field.
  4. Click on the "Verify" button next to the email field.
  5. Windows Live Mail will then attempt to verify the email address by sending a verification email to the address.
  6. Once the verification email is sent, you will receive an email at the address you entered. The email will contain a verification link that you need to click on to confirm that the email address is valid.
  7. Once you click on the verification link, Windows Live Mail will mark the email address as verified in your contacts list.

Alternatively, you can also verify an email address by using the "Check Names" feature in Windows Live Mail. To do this:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail and click on the "Compose" button to create a new email.
  2. Enter the email address you want to verify in the "To" field.
  3. Click on the "Check Names" button next to the "To" field.
  4. Windows Live Mail will then attempt to verify the email address by searching for it in your contacts list or by sending a verification email to the address.
  5. If the email address is found in your contacts list, Windows Live Mail will mark it as verified. If the email address is not found, Windows Live Mail will send a verification email to the address.
  6. Once you receive the verification email, you can click on the verification link to confirm that the email address is valid.

Note that the "Verify" feature in Windows Live Mail is only available for email addresses that are not already in your contacts list. If you have already added an email address to your contacts list, you will not be able to verify it using this feature.
