View mail headers in outlook
To view the mail headers in Outlook, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "View" tab
- Open the email message you want to view the headers for.
- Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on "View Settings" in the "View" group.
- Click on "Other Settings" in the "View Settings" dialog box.
- Scroll down to the "Headers" section and check the box next to "Show headers".
- Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Method 2: Using the "Message" tab
- Open the email message you want to view the headers for.
- Click on the "Message" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on "Properties" in the "Tags" group.
- In the "Message Properties" dialog box, click on the "Internet Headers" tab.
- The mail headers will be displayed in the "Internet Headers" tab.
Method 3: Using the "F9" key
- Open the email message you want to view the headers for.
- Press the "F9" key on your keyboard.
- The mail headers will be displayed in a new window.
The mail headers will display information such as:
- The sender's email address
- The recipient's email address
- The subject of the email
- The date and time the email was sent
- The IP address of the sender's email server
