What can open windows mail
Windows Mail is a legacy email client that was included with Windows Vista and Windows 7. It's no longer supported by Microsoft, and it's not compatible with modern versions of Windows.
However, there are a few options to open and view Windows Mail files (.eml files) on newer versions of Windows:
- Windows Live Mail: If you still have Windows Live Mail installed on your system, you can open Windows Mail files (.eml files) using this email client. Windows Live Mail is a successor to Windows Mail and can read and write.eml files.
- Thunderbird: Mozilla Thunderbird is a free, open-source email client that can import and view.eml files. You can download and install Thunderbird from the official website.
- Microsoft Outlook: While Outlook is a more powerful email client than Windows Mail, it can still open and view.eml files. You can import the.eml files into Outlook and read them.
- Third-party email clients: There are several third-party email clients that can open and view.eml files, such as:
- eM Client
- Foxmail
- Pegasus Mail
- The Bat!
- Online.eml viewers: There are also online tools and services that allow you to view.eml files without installing any software. For example:
- Email Viewer
- EML Viewer
- Online EML Viewer
Keep in mind that these options may not preserve the original formatting and layout of the emails, and some features may not work as expected.
