When will the mn rebate checks be mailed

The Minnesota Individual Income Tax Rebate program, also known as the "Rebate for Working Families," was established in 2020 to provide a rebate to eligible taxpayers who filed their 2020 individual income tax returns. The program was designed to help working families and individuals who were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Minnesota Department of Revenue, the rebate checks were mailed to eligible taxpayers in the following phases:

• Phase 1: Rebate checks were mailed to approximately 340,000 taxpayers who filed their 2020 individual income tax returns by April 15, 2021. These checks were mailed in late May and early June 2021.
• Phase 2: Rebate checks were mailed to approximately 240,000 taxpayers who filed their 2020 individual income tax returns between April 16, 2021, and July 15, 2021. These checks were mailed in late July and early August 2021.
• Phase 3: Rebate checks were mailed to approximately 120,000 taxpayers who filed their 2020 individual income tax returns between July 16, 2021, and October 15, 2021. These checks were mailed in late October and early November 2021.
