Where are the archived mails in gmail

In Gmail, archived emails are not actually deleted, but rather moved to a special folder called "All Mail" (formerly known as "All Messages"). This folder contains all your emails, including those you've archived, starred, or labeled.

To find archived emails in Gmail:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
  3. Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.

Alternatively, you can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for archived emails. To do this:

  1. Type "in:all" in the search bar, followed by your search query (e.g., "in:all from:[email protected]").
  2. Press Enter to execute the search.

This will show you all emails that match your search query, including archived ones.

Note that archived emails are still searchable and can be restored to their original inbox or moved to other folders if needed.
