To add a signature block in Google Mail (Gmail), follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the "General" tab.
5. Look for the "Signature" section.
6. Click on the "Edit" button next to "Signature".
7. Enter your signature text in the text box. You can format the text using the toolbar above the box.
8. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Alternatively, you can also add a signature block by using the keyboard shortcut:

1. Compose a new email.
2. Type -- (two hyphens) followed by your signature text.
3. Press Enter to insert the signature at the bottom of the email.

Note: If you're using the mobile app, the process is slightly different. You can add a signature by going to the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) > "General" > "Signature".
