Where is archived mail in gmail app

In the Gmail app, archived emails are not explicitly labeled as "archived" in the same way that they are in the Gmail web interface. However, you can still find archived emails in the app by following these steps:

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to the "All Mail" label. This label includes all emails in your Gmail account, including archived ones.
  2. Tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen to open the menu.
  3. Tap "Show search options" to open the search bar.
  4. In the search bar, type "is:archived" and press Enter. This will show you a list of all archived emails in your account.
  5. You can also use the "Filter" button at the top of the screen to filter your emails by label. Tap the "Filter" button, then tap "Has label" and select "Archived" from the list of available labels.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Categories" tab in the Gmail app to find archived emails. To do this:

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to the "Categories" tab.
  2. Tap the "Archived" category to view all archived emails in your account.

Note that archived emails are still stored in your Gmail account and can be accessed at any time. They are simply moved out of your primary inbox and into the "All Mail" label or the "Archived" category.
