Where is the archived mail in gmail

In Gmail, archived emails are not actually deleted, but rather moved to a special folder called "All Mail" (formerly known as "All Messages"). This folder includes all emails in your Gmail account, including those that have been archived, deleted, or starred.

To find archived emails in Gmail:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page and select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Alternatively, you can use the search bar at the top of the page and type "in:all" to search for emails in the "All Mail" folder.

In the "All Mail" folder, you'll see all your archived emails, including those that have been moved from the inbox, sent, or other folders. You can use the filters and labels to organize and search for specific emails.

Note that archived emails are still stored in your Gmail account and can be recovered if needed. However, if you want to permanently delete an email, you'll need to use the "Trash" or "Delete forever" option.
