Where to find archived mail in gmail app
In the Gmail app, archived emails are not immediately visible in the inbox or other folders. Instead, they are moved to a special "All Mail" folder, which includes all emails in your Gmail account, including archived ones. Here's how to find archived emails in the Gmail app:
Method 1: Search for archived emails
- Open the Gmail app and tap the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top.
- Type "in:all" in the search bar and press Enter.
- This will show you all emails in your account, including archived ones.
Method 2: Check the "All Mail" folder
- Open the Gmail app and navigate to the "All Mail" folder.
- This folder is usually located in the left-hand menu, under "More" or "Categories".
- Tap on "All Mail" to view all emails in your account, including archived ones.
Method 3: Use the "Archive" label
- Open the Gmail app and navigate to the "Labels" tab (usually located in the left-hand menu).
- Tap on the "Archive" label to view all emails that have been archived.
- You can also use the "Archive" label to quickly find archived emails by searching for "label:archive".
Note that archived emails are still stored in your Gmail account and can be easily retrieved if needed.
