Where to mail income tax return
In the United States, you can mail your income tax return to the following addresses:
For Paper Filers:

For Electronic Filers (E-file):
- You don't need to mail a paper return if you e-file your taxes. Your tax software will submit your return electronically to the IRS.
Important:
- Make sure to sign and date your return before mailing it.
- Use the correct postage and ensure your return is postmarked by the tax filing deadline (usually April 15th).
- Keep a copy of your return and supporting documents for your records.
Additional Tips:
- If you're filing a joint return, both spouses must sign the return.
- If you're filing a return for a deceased individual, you'll need to attach a copy of the death certificate to the return.
