Where to mail t1
The T1 form!
The T1 form, also known as the "Statement of Business or Professional Activities," is a tax return filed by self-employed individuals and businesses in Canada. Here's where to mail it:
For paper filers:
- If you're filing a paper T1 return, you can mail it to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) at the following address:
- For returns from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and the territories: CRA, Post Office Box 20000, Mississauga, ON L5A 4W8
- For returns from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador: CRA, Post Office Box 2000, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 3Z6
- For returns from the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut: CRA, Post Office Box 2000, Whitehorse, YT Y1A 2A3
For electronic filers:
- If you're filing your T1 return electronically using the CRA's NETFILE service, you don't need to mail a paper copy. You can simply submit your return online through a certified NETFILE service provider, such as TurboTax or UFile.
Important:
- Make sure to keep a copy of your T1 return and supporting documents for your records.
- If you're filing a paper return, ensure it's received by the CRA by the deadline (usually April 30th for individuals and June 15th for self-employed individuals).
- If you're filing electronically, ensure you submit your return by the deadline and keep a record of your submission.
Remember to double-check the CRA's website for any updates or changes to the mailing addresses or filing deadlines.
