Wildblue email setup

WildBlue is a satellite internet service provider that offers high-speed internet access to rural areas. To set up your WildBlue email account, follow these steps:

Step 1: Activate Your Account

1. Log in to your WildBlue account online or call their customer service number to activate your account.
2. Provide the required information, such as your name, email address, and password.

Step 2: Set Up Your Email Account

1. Go to the WildBlue email login page (www.wildblue.net/email) and click on "Sign In" in the top right corner.
2. Enter your email address and password to log in.
3. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the page.
4. Click on "Account Settings" and then "Email Settings".
5. Update your email settings as needed, such as setting up your email client or configuring your spam filter.

1. To set up your email client, such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, follow these steps:
   • For Microsoft Outlook:

     • Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
     • Enter your email address, username, and password, and select "Next".
     • Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server settings:
       • Incoming mail server: mail.wildblue.net
       • Outgoing mail server: mail.wildblue.net
       • Port: 110 (POP3) or 143 (IMAP)
   • For Mozilla Thunderbird:
     • Open Thunderbird and click on "File" > "New" > "Email Account".
     • Enter your email address, username, and password, and select "Next".
     • Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server settings:
       • Incoming mail server: mail.wildblue.net
       • Outgoing mail server: mail.wildblue.net
       • Port: 110 (POP3) or 143 (IMAP)

Step 4: Verify Your Email Account

1. Once you've set up your email client, verify your email account by sending an email to yourself.
2. Check your email account to ensure that you can receive and send emails successfully.
