Windows 7 mail profile list regedit

A Windows 7 Mail profile list!

To view the list of Mail profiles in Windows 7 using Regedit, follow these steps:

  1. Open Regedit: Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box, type regedit, and press Enter.
  2. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail
  3. Look for the subkey Profiles. This is where the list of Mail profiles is stored.
  4. Expand the Profiles subkey to view the list of profiles. Each profile is represented by a subkey with a unique name, such as Profile1, Profile2, etc.

Note that each profile subkey contains additional registry values that store settings specific to that profile, such as the profile name, email address, and account settings.

To delete a Mail profile, you can simply delete the corresponding subkey under Profiles. However, be careful when deleting profiles, as this will remove all associated settings and data.

Alternatively, you can also view the list of Mail profiles using the Windows Mail application:

  1. Open Windows Mail.
  2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Options".
  3. In the Options window, click on the "Profiles" tab.
  4. The list of profiles will be displayed in the "Profile" dropdown list.
