Windows live mail account settings location

The location of account settings in Windows Live Mail can vary depending on the version of Windows Live Mail you are using. Here are the general steps to access account settings in different versions of Windows Live Mail:

Windows Live Mail 2011 and earlier:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail.
  2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Account Settings".
  3. In the "Account Settings" window, click on the "Email" tab.
  4. Click on the "Edit" button next to the account you want to modify.
  5. In the "Account Properties" window, you can modify the account settings such as the email address, password, and server settings.

Windows Live Mail 2012 and later:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail.

  3. In the "Options" window, click on the "Account" tab.
  4. Click on the "Manage Accounts" button.
  5. In the "Account Settings" window, select the account you want to modify and click on the "Edit" button.

Windows Live Mail 2015 and later:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner of the window.
