Windows live mail background stationery
A blast from the past!
Windows Live Mail was a popular email client in the early 2000s, and one of its features was the ability to customize the background stationery of your emails. Stationery refers to the design and layout of the email message, including the background image, borders, and text formatting.
To change the background stationery in Windows Live Mail, follow these steps:
- Open Windows Live Mail and click on the "View" menu.
- Select "Stationery" from the drop-down menu.
- In the Stationery window, click on the "Background" tab.
- Click on the "Browse" button to select a new background image from your computer.
- Choose an image file (e.g., JPEG, PNG, GIF) that you want to use as the background.
- Adjust the image size and position to your liking using the sliders or by typing in specific values.
- Click "OK" to apply the new background stationery to your emails.
Some tips to keep in mind:
- The background image should be in a format that is supported by Windows Live Mail, such as JPEG, PNG, or GIF.
- The image should be in a reasonable size, as larger images may cause performance issues.
- You can also use a solid color or a gradient as the background instead of an image.
- To reset the stationery to its default settings, click on the "Reset" button in the Stationery window.
