Windows live mail bigpond settings
A blast from the past! Windows Live Mail was a popular email client in the early 2000s, and BigPond was a popular internet service provider in Australia. Here are the settings you need to configure Windows Live Mail to connect to BigPond:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Server name: mail.bigpond.com
- Port: 110 (POP3) or 995 (SSL/TLS)
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g., [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server name: mail.bigpond.com
- Port: 25 (SMTP) or 587 (TLS)
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g., [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
