Windows mail app subfolders
In the Windows Mail app, you can create subfolders to organize your emails and make them easier to find. Here's how:
- Open the Windows Mail app.
- Click on the "Folders" button in the top left corner of the window.
- Click on the "New Folder" button.
- Enter a name for your new folder and click "OK".
- To create a subfolder, right-click on the folder you just created and select "New Folder".
- Enter a name for your subfolder and click "OK".
- You can continue to create subfolders within subfolders to create a hierarchical structure.
To move emails to a subfolder, follow these steps:
- Select the emails you want to move by checking the boxes next to them.
- Right-click on the selected emails and select "Move to Folder".
- Navigate to the subfolder you want to move the emails to and click "OK".
You can also use the "Drag and Drop" method to move emails to a subfolder:
- Select the emails you want to move by checking the boxes next to them.
- Drag the selected emails to the subfolder you want to move them to.
Tips:
- You can rename a folder or subfolder by right-clicking on it and selecting "Rename".
- You can delete a folder or subfolder by right-clicking on it and selecting "Delete".
- You can move multiple folders or subfolders at once by selecting them and then right-clicking on one of them and selecting "Move to Folder".
- You can also use the "Search" function to find specific emails and move them to a subfolder.
