Www.net.hr freemail
A blast from the past!
www.net.hr is a free email service provided by Croatian Telecom (Hrvatski Telekom), the largest telecommunications company in Croatia. The service was launched in the late 1990s and was very popular among Croatians, especially among students and young people.
The service offered a range of features, including:
- Free email addresses with the
@net.hrdomain - Web-based email client
- POP3 and IMAP access
- Support for HTML emails
- Limited storage space (around 10-20 MB)
In the early 2000s, the service became less popular as other free email services like Yahoo!, Gmail, and Hotmail gained popularity. Additionally, the rise of social media and instant messaging services further reduced the need for traditional email services.
Today, the www.net.hr service is still available, but it's no longer as widely used as it once was. The service is still maintained by Croatian Telecom, but it's mostly used by a small group of nostalgic users who still prefer the simplicity and familiarity of the old service.
