Yahoo! mail outlook settings

To set up Yahoo! Mail with Outlook, you'll need to follow these steps:

Method 1: Manual Setup

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
2. Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
3. Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
4. Enter the following settings:
   • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the From field.
   • Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address.
   • POP3 Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 995)
   • IMAP Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com (port 993)
   • Username: Your Yahoo! Mail address.
   • Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password.
5. Click More Settings and go to the Outgoing Server tab.
6. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and enter smtp.mail.yahoo.com as the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
7. Click OK to close the More Settings window.
8. Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup.

Method 2: Auto Setup

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
2. Select Auto Account Setup and click Next.
3. Enter your Yahoo! Mail address and password.
4. Click Connect to start the auto setup process.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

Additional Tips

• Make sure you have enabled POP or IMAP access in your Yahoo! Mail account settings. To do this, go to the Yahoo! Mail settings page, click on Account Info, and then select Account Settings. Under POP and IMAP Access, select the Enable POP or Enable IMAP option.
• If you're using two-factor authentication (2FA) with your Yahoo! Mail account, you may need to generate an app password to use with Outlook.
