Yahoo ameritech email

A blast from the past!

Ameritech was a regional Bell operating company (RBOC) that provided telephone and internet services in the Midwestern United States. In 1999, Ameritech was acquired by SBC Communications, which later changed its name to AT&T.

As a result, Ameritech email addresses were eventually migrated to AT&T email addresses. If you had an Ameritech email address, it would have been in the format of @ameritech.net.

Here are some possible scenarios:

  1. Ameritech email addresses still active: If you had an Ameritech email address, it's possible that it's still active and can be accessed. However, you may need to update your password and security settings.
  2. Migrated to AT&T email: When Ameritech was acquired by SBC Communications, many Ameritech email addresses were migrated to AT&T email addresses. If your email address was migrated, you would have received a notification with instructions on how to access your new AT&T email account.
  3. No longer active: Unfortunately, if you haven't accessed your Ameritech email account in a while, it's possible that it's no longer active. In this case, you may need to create a new email account with a different provider.

To access your Ameritech email account, you can try the following:

  1. Go to the AT&T website (www.att.com) and click on "Email" or "Account" to log in.
  2. Enter your Ameritech email address and password to access your account.
  3. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link.

Keep in mind that if your email account is no longer active, you may need to create a new account with a different provider to access your email.
