Yahoo anywhere mail settings
Here are the steps to set up Yahoo Mail on your device:
Desktop/Laptop:
- Open a web browser and go to mail.yahoo.com.
- Click on "Sign in" and enter your Yahoo email address and password.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Settings".
- Click on "Accounts" and then "Edit" next to "Incoming Mail".
- Enter your incoming mail server settings:
- Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 993
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Click on "Save Changes".
- Repeat the process for the "Outgoing Mail" settings:
- Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 587
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Click on "Save Changes".
Mobile Devices (Android/iOS):
Android:
- Open the Yahoo Mail app on your Android device.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to access the menu.
- Tap on "Settings".
- Tap on "Account settings".
- Tap on "Incoming server settings".
- Enter the following settings:
- Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 993
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Tap on "Save".
- Repeat the process for the "Outgoing server settings":
- Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 587
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Tap on "Save".
iOS:
- Open the Yahoo Mail app on your iOS device.
- Tap on the gear icon in the top right corner to access the settings.
- Tap on "Account settings".
- Tap on "Incoming Mail Server".
- Enter the following settings:
- Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 993
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Tap on "Save".
- Repeat the process for the "Outgoing Mail Server":
- Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 587
- SSL/TLS: Enabled
- Tap on "Save".
Additional Tips:
