Yahoo mail alias

A blast from the past!

In Yahoo Mail, an alias is an alternative email address that forwards emails to your primary Yahoo Mail account. Here's how to set up an alias in Yahoo Mail:

Method 1: Using the Yahoo Mail website

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "More Settings" from the left sidebar.
  5. Scroll down to the "Forwarding" section.
  6. Click on "Add a forwarding address".
  7. Enter the alias email address you want to use (e.g., [email protected]).
  8. Click "Add" to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the Yahoo Mail mobile app

  1. Open the Yahoo Mail app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Forwarding" section.
  5. Tap on "Add a forwarding address".
  6. Enter the alias email address you want to use (e.g., [email protected]).
  7. Tap "Add" to save the changes.

Once you've set up an alias, any emails sent to that alias will be forwarded to your primary Yahoo Mail account. Note that you can have multiple aliases, but each alias must be unique and not already in use by another Yahoo Mail account.
