Yahoo mail folders
In Yahoo Mail, folders are a way to organize and categorize your emails. Here are some common types of folders you might find in Yahoo Mail:
- Inbox: This is the default folder where new emails are delivered.
- Sent: This folder contains emails you've sent to others.
- Drafts: This folder contains emails you've started composing but haven't sent yet.
- Spam: This folder contains emails that Yahoo Mail's filters have identified as spam.
- Trash: This folder contains emails you've deleted, but you can recover them if needed.
- Junk: This folder contains emails that Yahoo Mail's filters have identified as junk mail.
- Custom folders: You can create your own custom folders to organize your emails by topic, project, or category.
To create a new folder in Yahoo Mail:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the "Folders" tab on the left side of the screen.
- Click on the "New Folder" button.
- Enter a name for your new folder and click "Create".
To move an email to a folder:
- Open the email you want to move.
- Click on the "Move" button.
- Select the folder you want to move the email to from the dropdown menu.
To view emails in a folder:
- Click on the folder you want to view from the "Folders" tab.
- All the emails in that folder will be displayed in the main email window.
