Yahoo mail pop3 servers

A blast from the past!

Yahoo Mail used to offer POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3) access to retrieve emails from their servers. However, in 2019, Yahoo announced that they would be discontinuing POP3 access for all users, citing security concerns.

As of March 5, 2019, Yahoo Mail no longer supports POP3 access. This means that you will no longer be able to use POP3 to retrieve your Yahoo Mail emails using third-party email clients or apps.

Instead, Yahoo recommends using their IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) or SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings to access your Yahoo Mail account. Here are the current settings:

Please note that you may need to enable IMAP or SMTP access in your Yahoo Mail account settings to use these settings.

If you're looking for alternative email services that still support POP3, you may want to consider other providers like Gmail, Outlook, or ProtonMail.
