Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
- Server name: pop.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 995
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your Yahoo Mail address (e.g., [yourname]@yahoo.com)
- Password: Your Yahoo Mail password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
- Server name: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: STARTTLS
- Username: Your Yahoo Mail address (e.g., [yourname]@yahoo.com)
- Password: Your Yahoo Mail password
Additional Settings
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the Yahoo Mail server)
- Remove a copy of messages from the server: No (if you want to delete emails from the Yahoo Mail server after downloading them to Outlook)
Steps to set up Yahoo Mail in Outlook 2016
- Open Outlook 2016 and go to File > Add Account.
- Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click Next.
- Select "POP or IMAP" and click Next.
- Enter the following information:
- Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the From field of your emails.
