Ymail pop settings
Here are the POP settings for Yahoo Mail:
POP Server:
- Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 995 (SSL/TLS)
Username and Password:
- Username: Your full Yahoo Mail address (e.g., [yourname]@yahoo.com)
- Password: Your Yahoo Mail password
Authentication:
- Authentication method: Password
- Authentication type: Plain Text (or MD5 if your email client supports it)
Other settings:
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (or No if you want to delete messages from the server after downloading)
- Delete messages from server after downloading: No (or Yes if you want to delete messages from the server after downloading)
Note:
- Make sure to enable POP access in your Yahoo Mail account settings. To do this, go to the Yahoo Mail settings page, click on "More Settings" and then "Accounts", and then toggle the switch next to "POP" to the "On" position.
- Also, be aware that using POP to access your Yahoo Mail account may not be secure, as your password will be sent in plain text. If you're concerned about security, consider using IMAP instead.
