Access aol mail through outlook

A blast from the past! AOL Mail is still around, and you can access it through Outlook. Here's how:

Method 1: Add AOL Mail account to Outlook.com

  1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "View all Outlook settings."
  3. In the settings page, click on "Accounts" and then "Linked accounts."
  4. Click on "Add a mailbox" and select "Other email provider."
  5. Enter your AOL Mail address and password, and click "Next."
  6. Follow the prompts to set up your AOL Mail account in Outlook.com.

Method 2: Use AOL Mail's IMAP settings in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and go to "File" > "Add Account."
  2. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."
  3. Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next."
  4. Enter the following settings:
    • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field.
    • Email Address: Your AOL Mail address.
    • Account Type: IMAP.
    • Incoming mail server: imap.aol.com.
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.aol.com.
    • User Name: Your AOL Mail address.
    • Password: Your AOL Mail password.
  5. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup.

Method 3: Use AOL Mail's POP settings in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and go to "File" > "Add Account."
  2. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."
  3. Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next."
  4. Enter the following settings:
    • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field.
    • Email Address: Your AOL Mail address.
    • Account Type: POP3.
    • Incoming mail server: pop.aol.com.
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.aol.com.
    • User Name: Your AOL Mail address.
    • Password: Your AOL Mail password.
  5. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup.

Once you've set up your AOL Mail account in Outlook, you can access your AOL Mail inbox, send and receive emails, and manage your account settings from within Outlook.
