Add bcc to windows mail

To add a BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field to Windows Mail, you'll need to use a third-party add-in or modify the registry. Here are the steps:

Method 1: Using a third-party add-in

  1. Download and install a third-party add-in like "BCC for Windows Mail" or "MailBCC" from a reputable source.
  2. Follow the installation instructions to add the add-in to Windows Mail.
  3. Once installed, you should see a new "BCC" field in the "To" field of the compose window.

Method 2: Modifying the registry

Warning: Modifying the registry can be risky and may cause system instability if not done correctly. Make sure to back up your registry before making any changes.

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail
  4. Right-click on the "Windows Mail" key and select "New" > "String Value".
  5. Name the new value "BCC" and set its value to 1.
  6. Close the Registry Editor and restart Windows Mail.

After restarting Windows Mail, you should see a new "BCC" field in the "To" field of the compose window.

Note: If you're using Windows 10, you may need to use the "Windows Mail (Classic)" app instead of the modern "Mail" app to add a BCC field.
