Add shared mail folder in outlook

To add a shared mail folder in Outlook, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Folder" button

  1. Open Outlook and navigate to the folder where you want to add the shared folder.
  2. Click on the "Folder" button in the ribbon or press the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + F".
  3. In the "Create New Folder" dialog box, enter a name for the folder and select "Shared Folder" as the folder type.
  4. Click "OK" to create the folder.
  5. Right-click on the new folder and select "Properties".
  6. In the "Folder Properties" dialog box, click on the "Permissions" tab.
  7. Click on the "Add" button and enter the email address of the person you want to share the folder with.
  8. Select the permission level you want to grant (e.g. "Editor", "Contributor", etc.).
  9. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the "Share" button

  1. Open Outlook and navigate to the folder you want to share.
  2. Right-click on the folder and select "Share".
  3. In the "Share Folder" dialog box, enter the email address of the person you want to share the folder with.
  4. Select the permission level you want to grant (e.g. "Editor", "Contributor", etc.).
  5. Click "OK" to share the folder.

Method 3: Using the "Outlook Web App"

  1. Log in to the Outlook Web App (OWA) using your email address and password.
  2. Click on the "Folders" tab.
  3. Click on the "New Folder" button.
  4. Enter a name for the folder and select "Shared Folder" as the folder type.
  5. Click "OK" to create the folder.
  6. Right-click on the new folder and select "Properties".

Once you've shared the folder, the person you shared it with will receive an email notification and will be able to access the folder in their own Outlook account.
