  4. Select "Other" as the account type.

  10. You will be asked to enter the IMAP or POP settings for your Gmail account. You can find these settings in your Gmail account settings:
    • IMAP settings: imap.gmail.com (port 993), SSL/TLS
    • POP settings: pop.gmail.com (port 995), SSL/TLS
  11. Enter the settings and tap on "Save".
  12. You will be asked to enter a description for your account. You can enter a name for your account, such as "Gmail".
  13. Tap on "Save".
  14. Your Gmail account will now be added to your iCloud Mail account.

Note: If you have 2-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your Gmail account, you will need to generate an App Password and use it instead of your regular password.

Also, keep in mind that adding a Gmail account to iCloud Mail will allow you to access your Gmail emails from the Mail app on your iPhone XR, but it will not sync your contacts or calendar events with your iCloud account. If you want to sync your contacts and calendar events, you will need to set up your Gmail account as a separate account on your iPhone XR.
