Alice adsl mail outlook

A classic setup!

To set up Alice ADSL mail in Outlook, follow these steps:

Step 1: Configure Outlook to use Alice ADSL mail

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings (in Outlook 2010 and later) or Tools > Account Settings (in Outlook 2007).
2. Click New to create a new email account.
3. Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
4. Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
5. Enter the following settings:
   • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in emails.
   • Email Address: Your Alice ADSL email address (e.g., [yourname]@aliceadsl.be).
   • Account Type: POP3 or IMAP (your choice).
   • Incoming mail server: mail.aliceadsl.be.
   • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.aliceadsl.be.
   • User Name: Your Alice ADSL email address (e.g., [yourname]@aliceadsl.be).
   • Password: Your Alice ADSL email password.
6. Click Next and then Finish.

Step 2: Configure Outlook to use Alice ADSL mail settings

1. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings (in Outlook 2010 and later) or Tools > Account Settings (in Outlook 2007).
2. Select your Alice ADSL email account and click Change.
3. In the Change E-mail Account window, click More Settings.
4. In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click on the Outgoing Server tab.
5. Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
6. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
7. Click OK to close the Internet E-mail Settings window.
8. Click Next and then Finish.

That's it! Your Alice ADSL mail should now be set up in Outlook.
