Alice adsl mail outlook
A classic setup!
To set up Alice ADSL mail in Outlook, follow these steps:
Step 1: Configure Outlook to use Alice ADSL mail
- Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings (in Outlook 2010 and later) or Tools > Account Settings (in Outlook 2007).
- Click New to create a new email account.
- Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
- Enter the following settings:
- Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in emails.
- Email Address: Your Alice ADSL email address (e.g., [yourname]@aliceadsl.be).
- Account Type: POP3 or IMAP (your choice).
- Incoming mail server: mail.aliceadsl.be.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.aliceadsl.be.
- User Name: Your Alice ADSL email address (e.g., [yourname]@aliceadsl.be).
- Password: Your Alice ADSL email password.
- Click Next and then Finish.
Step 2: Configure Outlook to use Alice ADSL mail settings
- Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings (in Outlook 2010 and later) or Tools > Account Settings (in Outlook 2007).
- Select your Alice ADSL email account and click Change.
- In the Change E-mail Account window, click More Settings.
- In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click on the Outgoing Server tab.
- Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click OK to close the Internet E-mail Settings window.
- Click Next and then Finish.
That's it! Your Alice ADSL mail should now be set up in Outlook.
