Apple mail attach photo as file

To attach a photo as a file in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail and compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  2. Click on the "Attach" button in the top right corner of the compose window.
  3. Select "File" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Navigate to the location where your photo is saved on your computer.
  5. Select the photo you want to attach and click "Open".
  6. The photo will be attached to the email as a file.

Alternatively, you can also drag and drop the photo from your computer into the email compose window to attach it.

Note: If you want to attach a photo as a file in a specific format, such as JPEG or PNG, you can select the file type from the "Format" dropdown menu in the "Attach" window.

Also, you can use the "Insert Photo" button in the toolbar to attach a photo to the email. This button is only available if you have a photo selected in the "Attach" window.

It's worth noting that when you attach a photo to an email, it will be sent as a file attachment, which means that the recipient will receive the photo as a separate file, rather than having it embedded in the email body.
