Apple mail set up alias

To set up an alias in Apple Mail on a Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail and go to the "Mail" menu.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the account you want to set up the alias for from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  6. Scroll down to the "Send Mail As" section.
  7. Click on the "Add" button next to "Send Mail As".
  8. Enter the alias email address you want to use in the "Email Address" field.
  9. Enter the name you want to use for the alias in the "Full Name" field.

Alternatively, you can also set up an alias in Apple Mail by following these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail and go to the "File" menu.
  2. Select "New Mailbox" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the alias email address you want to use in the "Name" field.
  4. Enter the name you want to use for the alias in the "Location" field.
  5. Click "Create" to create the new mailbox.
  6. Right-click on the new mailbox and select "Get Info" from the context menu.
  7. In the "Get Info" window, click on the "Advanced" tab.
  8. Scroll down to the "Send Mail As" section.
  9. Click on the "Add" button next to "Send Mail As".
  10. Enter the alias email address you want to use in the "Email Address" field.
  11. Enter the name you want to use for the alias in the "Full Name" field.
  12. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Once you have set up the alias, you can use it to send emails from Apple Mail. To do this, simply compose a new email and enter the alias email address in the "From" field.
