Archived mail in gmail how to get to it
The joys of archived emails in Gmail!
Archived emails in Gmail are still stored in your account, but they're not visible in your inbox or other folders by default. Here's how to access them:
Method 1: Search for archived emails
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type
in:archive
in the search bar and press Enter. - This will show you all the emails that have been archived.
Method 2: Use the "All Mail" label
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
- Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- This will show you all the emails in your account, including archived ones.
Method 3: Use the "Archive" label
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Labels" tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Archive" label.
- This will show you all the emails that have been archived.
Method 4: Use the Gmail search operator
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Type
is:archive
in the search bar and press Enter. - This will show you all the emails that have been archived.
Once you've accessed your archived emails, you can:
- Unarchive them by clicking on the three vertical dots next to the email and selecting "Unarchive".
- Move them to a different folder by dragging and dropping them or using the "Move to" feature.
- Delete them permanently by clicking on the trash can icon.
Remember that archived emails are still stored in your account, so you can always access them if needed.
