Arrange mails by name in outlook 2013
In Outlook 2013, you can arrange your emails by name by using the "From" field as the sorting criteria. Here's how:
- Open your Inbox in Outlook 2013.
- Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
- In the "View" tab, click on the "View Settings" button in the "Arrangement & Display" group.
- In the "View Settings" dialog box, click on the "Fields" tab.
- In the "Fields" tab, scroll down and select "From" from the list of available fields.
- Click on the "Add" button to add the "From" field to the "Show fields" list.
- Click on the "OK" button to close the "View Settings" dialog box.
- Now, go back to your Inbox and click on the "View" tab again.
- In the "View" tab, click on the "Sort" button in the "Arrangement & Display" group.
- In the "Sort" dialog box, select "From" as the sorting field.
- Choose the sorting order you prefer (e.g., "Ascending" or "Descending").
- Click on the "OK" button to apply the sorting.
Your emails should now be arranged in alphabetical order by sender's name.
Note: You can also use the "Quick Steps" feature in Outlook 2013 to quickly sort your emails by sender's name. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open your Inbox in Outlook 2013.
- Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
- In the "Home" tab, click on the "Quick Steps" button in the "Move" group.
- In the "Quick Steps" dialog box, click on the "New Quick Step" button.
- In the "Create New Quick Step" dialog box, select "Sort" as the action.
- Choose "From" as the sorting field and select the sorting order you prefer.
- Click on the "Finish" button to create the Quick Step.
- To apply the Quick Step, select the emails you want to sort and then click on the "Quick Steps" button again. Select the Quick Step you just created from the list.
