Assigning default google mail
To assign a default Google Mail account, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Google Account Settings
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Click on the profile picture or initial in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "My Account" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Account" section.
- Click on "Account settings".
- Scroll down to the "Google Account" section.
- Click on "Make default account".
- Select the Google Mail account you want to set as the default from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Using the Google Mail Settings
- Sign in to your Google Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "See all settings".
- Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" section.
- Click on "Add another account" or "Edit" next to the account you want to set as the default.
- Check the box next to "Make default account".
- Click "Save Changes".
Method 3: Using the Google Chrome Browser
- Open Google Chrome browser.
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings".
- Scroll down to the "Appearance" section.
- Click on "Show advanced settings".

- Click on "Make default account".
- Select the Google Mail account you want to set as the default from the dropdown menu.
