Associate mail id with pan card process
Here's a step-by-step process to associate a mail ID with a PAN card:
Step 1: Log in to the NSDL Website
- Visit the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) website at www.tin-nsdl.com.
- Click on the "e-Filing" tab and then select "PAN" from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Fill the PAN Application Form
- Fill out the PAN application form (Form 49A) accurately and completely.
- Ensure that you provide your correct mail ID in the relevant field.
Step 3: Upload the Required Documents
- Upload the required documents, including:
- Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, etc.)
- Proof of address (electricity bill, bank statement, etc.)
- Proof of date of birth (birth certificate, school leaving certificate, etc.)
Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
- Pay the application fee of ₹110 (₹93 for SC/ST applicants) using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Step 5: Submit the Application
- Submit the application form and supporting documents online.
Step 6: Verify Your Mail ID
- After submitting the application, you will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mail ID.
- Enter the OTP to verify your mail ID.
Step 7: Receive Your PAN Card
- Once your application is processed, you will receive your PAN card at your registered mail ID.

- Ensure that your mail ID is active and functional, as you will receive important updates and notifications from NSDL on this ID.
