Call back sent mail in gmail
To recall a sent email in Gmail, you can use the "Undo Send" feature, which allows you to retract an email within a certain time frame after sending it. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature
- Go to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "General" tab.
- Look for the "Undo Send" option and toggle it on.
- Set the time frame for which you want to be able to recall an email (e.g., 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
- Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
Now, when you send an email, you'll have a short window of time (set by you) to recall it. To recall an email, follow these steps:
- Go to your Gmail account and click on the "Sent" tab.
- Find the email you want to recall and click on the three vertical dots next to it.
- Select "Undo" from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Using the "Unsend" feature (only available for some accounts)
If you have a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) account or a Gmail account with the "Unsend" feature enabled, you can use this method:
- Go to your Gmail account and click on the "Sent" tab.
- Find the email you want to recall and click on the three vertical dots next to it.
- Select "Unsend" from the dropdown menu.
Note that the "Unsend" feature is only available for a limited time after sending the email, and it may not work for all emails.
Important: The "Undo Send" and "Unsend" features are not foolproof and may not work in all cases. It's always a good idea to double-check your emails before sending them to ensure they're accurate and complete.
