Can't find contacts in mail

Frustrating! Don't worry, I'm here to help you troubleshoot. Here are some steps to help you find your contacts in Gmail:

  1. Check your labels: Make sure you're looking in the right label. You can create labels to organize your contacts. Check if you have a label named "Contacts" or "Friends" or any other label you use to categorize your contacts.
  2. Search for contacts: Use the search bar at the top of the Gmail page to search for contacts. Type "to: [name]" or "from: [name]" to search for specific contacts.
  3. Check your contact list: Click on the "Contacts" button in the left sidebar or click on the "More" menu and select "Contacts" to view your contact list.
  4. Check your chat list: If you're using Gmail's chat feature, you can also find your contacts in the chat list.
  5. Check your sent emails: If you've sent emails to specific contacts, you can find them in your sent emails folder.
  6. Check your spam folder: Sometimes, contacts may end up in your spam folder. Check your spam folder to see if any contacts are there.
  7. Check your trash folder: If you've deleted contacts, they may be in your trash folder. Check your trash folder to see if any contacts are there.
  8. Use the "Find people or emails" feature: Gmail has a feature called "Find people or emails" that can help you find specific contacts. To use this feature, click on the "More" menu and select "Find people or emails".
  9. Check your contact groups: If you've created contact groups, you can find them in the "Contacts" section.
  10. Try searching with specific keywords: Try searching for specific keywords like "John Smith" or "[email protected]" to find contacts with that name or email address.

If none of these steps help, you can try resetting your Gmail settings or contacting Google support for further assistance.
