Can't set reminders in windows live mail

Frustrating!

Windows Live Mail (WLM) is an older email client, and it's not surprising that it doesn't have the same features as modern email clients. Unfortunately, setting reminders is not a built-in feature in Windows Live Mail.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

  1. Use a third-party add-in: There are some third-party add-ins available that can add reminder functionality to Windows Live Mail. One popular option is "Reminder Add-in" by Microsoft. You can download it from the Microsoft website.
  2. Use a separate reminder app: You can use a separate reminder app, such as Any.do, Todoist, or Google Keep, to set reminders and then sync them with your Windows Live Mail account. This way, you can still receive notifications and reminders for your email messages.
  3. Use a browser-based email client: If you're comfortable using a web-based email client, you can try using Outlook.com or Gmail, which both have built-in reminder features.
  4. Upgrade to a newer email client: If you're using Windows Live Mail because it's the default email client on your Windows 7 or 8 system, you might consider upgrading to a newer email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, which have more advanced features, including reminder capabilities.

I hope these workarounds help you find a solution that meets your needs!
