Can i download all newsgroup headers in windows live mail

A blast from the past!

Windows Live Mail (WLM) is a legacy email client that was discontinued by Microsoft in 2012. While it's no longer supported, I'll try to help you with your question.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to download all newsgroup headers in Windows Live Mail (WLM) because:

  1. Newsgroups are not natively supported: WLM was designed primarily for email, not newsgroups. While it did have some basic newsgroup support, it was limited and not designed for large-scale newsgroup usage.
  2. No built-in newsgroup header download: WLM doesn't have a built-in feature to download newsgroup headers. You would need to use a third-party newsreader or a specialized tool to accomplish this.

If you still want to access newsgroups, I recommend using a dedicated newsreader software, such as:

  1. Microsoft Outlook Express (if you still have it installed): This is a more capable newsreader than WLM, but it's also an older application.
  2. FreeNZB: A free, open-source newsreader that supports multiple newsgroups and has a user-friendly interface.
  3. SABnzbd: A popular, free, and open-source newsreader that can download newsgroup headers and files.

Keep in mind that newsgroups are not as popular as they once were, and many ISPs no longer provide access to them. Additionally, some newsgroups may have specific requirements or restrictions for accessing their content.

If you're looking for an alternative to WLM, you might consider using a modern email client like Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or a web-based email service like Gmail or Outlook.com.
