Can i receive protonmail.me mail at protonmail.com

By default, ProtonMail does not allow you to receive emails at a different domain than the one you signed up with. For example, if you signed up with a protonmail.com address, you can only receive emails at that address.

However, there is a workaround to receive emails at a different domain, such as protonmail.me. You can create a custom domain alias in your ProtonMail account settings.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Log in to your ProtonMail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings".
  3. Scroll down to the "Custom Domain" section.
  4. Click on the "Add custom domain" button.
  5. Enter the domain you want to use as an alias (e.g., protonmail.me) and click "Add".
  6. ProtonMail will verify the domain ownership. You may need to add a TXT record to your domain's DNS settings.
  7. Once the domain is verified, you can set up the alias by clicking on the "Set up alias" button next to the domain.
  8. Choose the email address you want to use as the alias (e.g., [email protected]) and click "Save".

After setting up the custom domain alias, you should be able to receive emails sent to your custom domain (e.g., [email protected]) in your ProtonMail inbox.

Note that this feature is only available for ProtonMail Plus and ProtonMail Visionary users. If you're on a free plan, you won't be able to set up custom domain aliases.
