Can see junk mail on outlook app

The joys of junk mail!

Unfortunately, the Outlook app doesn't have a built-in feature to automatically filter out junk mail. However, there are a few ways to minimize the amount of junk mail you see in your Outlook app:

  1. Use Outlook's built-in spam filtering: Outlook has a built-in spam filtering feature that can help reduce the amount of junk mail you receive. To enable it, go to Settings > Mail > Spam filtering, and toggle the switch to "On".
  2. Mark messages as junk: When you receive a message that's clearly spam, you can mark it as junk by swiping left on the message and tapping "Mark as junk". This will help Outlook's algorithms learn to recognize similar messages as spam in the future.
  3. Use third-party add-ins: There are several third-party add-ins available that can help filter out junk mail, such as SpamSieve or SpamAssassin. These add-ins can be installed from the Microsoft Store or other online marketplaces.
  4. Use a third-party email client: If you're not satisfied with Outlook's built-in spam filtering, you might consider using a third-party email client like Microsoft's own Outlook.com or a dedicated email client like Airmail or Spark.
  5. Report junk mail to Microsoft: If you receive a message that's particularly egregious, you can report it to Microsoft by tapping the three dots at the top right corner of the message, then selecting "Report spam".

By following these steps, you should be able to reduce the amount of junk mail you see in your Outlook app.
