Here's a step-by-step guide on how to connect Feedly to ProtonMail:

Prerequisites:

  1. You have a ProtonMail account.
  2. You have a Feedly account.
  3. You have a ProtonMail email address (e.g., [yourname]@protonmail.com).

Step 1: Enable IMAP in ProtonMail

  1. Log in to your ProtonMail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings".
  3. Scroll down to the "Security" section and toggle the "IMAP" switch to the "On" position.
  4. Note down the IMAP settings:
    • Server: imap.protonmail.com
    • Port: 993
    • Username: Your ProtonMail email address (e.g., [yourname]@protonmail.com)
    • Password: Your ProtonMail password

Step 2: Connect Feedly to ProtonMail

  1. Log in to your Feedly account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings".
  3. Scroll down to the "Integrations" section and click on "Email".
  4. Click on "Add an email account" and select "IMAP" as the protocol.
  5. Enter the IMAP settings you noted down earlier:
    • Server: imap.protonmail.com
    • Port: 993
    • Username: Your ProtonMail email address (e.g., [yourname]@protonmail.com)
    • Password: Your ProtonMail password
  6. Click "Save" to save the settings.

Step 3: Verify the connection

  1. Go back to your Feedly account and click on the gear icon () in the top right corner.
  2. Select "Settings" and then "Integrations" again.
  3. Click on "Email" and then "Verify" next to your ProtonMail account.
  4. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.

Step 4: Set up your ProtonMail email address in Feedly

  1. Go back to your Feedly account and click on the gear icon () in the top right corner.
  2. Select "Settings" and then "Notifications".
  3. Click on "Add a notification" and select "Email".
  4. Enter your ProtonMail email address (e.g., [yourname]@protonmail.com) and click "Save".

That's it! You should now be able to receive notifications from Feedly in your ProtonMail inbox.
