Deere direct email outlook

Here are the steps to set up a direct email account in Outlook:

Step 1: Create a new email account

• Open Outlook and click on the "File" tab.
• Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
• Click "Next" and then select "POP or IMAP" as the account type.
• Click "Next" and enter the following information:
  • Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field of your emails.
  • Email address: Enter your Deere direct email address (e.g. [yourname]@deere.com).
  • Account type: Select "POP3" or "IMAP" as the account type.
  • Incoming mail server: Enter "mail.deere.com" as the incoming mail server.
  • Outgoing mail server: Enter "mail.deere.com" as the outgoing mail server.
  • User name: Enter your Deere direct email address (e.g. [yourname]@deere.com).
  • Password: Enter your Deere direct email password.

Step 2: Set up the account

• Click "Next" and then click "Finish" to set up the account.
• Outlook will attempt to connect to the Deere direct email server and set up the account.

Step 3: Configure the account settings

• Once the account is set up, you can configure the account settings by clicking on the "File" tab and then selecting "Account Settings".
• In the "Account Settings" window, select the Deere direct email account and click on the "Change" button.
• In the "Change Account" window, you can configure the following settings:
  • Server: Enter "mail.deere.com" as the server.
  • Port: Enter "995" as the port for incoming mail (POP3) or "993" as the port for incoming mail (IMAP).
  • Use the following type of encrypted connection: Select "SSL" or "TLS" as the encryption type.
  • Outgoing mail server: Enter "mail.deere.com" as the outgoing mail server.
  • Port: Enter "587" as the port for outgoing mail.

Step 4: Test the account

• Once you have configured the account settings, click "OK" to save the changes.
• Outlook will attempt to connect to the Deere direct email server and test the account.
• If the account is set up correctly, you should be able to send and receive emails using your Deere direct email address.
