Delete mail on gmail
To delete an email on Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Delete an email from the inbox
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the inbox tab to view your emails.
- Find the email you want to delete and hover your mouse over it.
- Click on the three vertical dots that appear on the right side of the email.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Delete an email from the trash
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Trash" tab to view your deleted emails.
- Find the email you want to delete permanently and hover your mouse over it.
- Click on the three vertical dots that appear on the right side of the email.
- Select "Empty Trash Forever" from the dropdown menu. This will permanently delete the email and move it to the "All Mail" label.
Method 3: Delete multiple emails at once
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Check the boxes next to the emails you want to delete.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" from the menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the selected emails.
Method 4: Use keyboard shortcuts
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Press the "e" key to delete an email.
- Press the "Shift + e" keys to delete multiple emails at once.
Note: Once you delete an email, it will be moved to the "Trash" folder. If you want to permanently delete an email, you'll need to empty the trash folder.
